Robin van Persie is consistently being linked with a move to Fenerbahce as the Dutch forward is rumored of being at the edge of leaving Old Trafford. If the Dutch forward does leave Manchester United during the summer transfer window, Louis van Gaal will have to search around for a new striker as his main attacking star will only be Wayne Rooney.
Javier Hernandez is another attacking outlet that Louis van Gaal has at his disposal but the Mexican forward is out injured after sustaining an injury during his time performing with his country at the international stage as he had to miss out from the Copa Oro.

West Ham United defender James Tomkins has accused Manchester United striker Robin van Persie of deliberately elbowing him in the face.
Van Persie has been subjected to some criticism with his attitude over the last few years, but it has largely been dusted on the floor due to his impressive goalscoring form. This year, he has come under the spotlight for the wrong reasons more often than not.
After struggling with poor form earlier in the season, the player is looking at the prospect of being retrospectively punished for elbowing Tomkins in the face.

Manchester United striker Robin van Persie did not seem to have the best relationship with the club’s former boss, David Moyes.
Despite having been relatively injury free for the last five years, the Dutch international appeared to suffer several absences from the first team under Moyes. Unsurprisingly, he has been regularly fit again under the Louis van Gaal. After concerns were raised about his goalscoring record, van Persie has responded with two goals in his last two matches. The record is even better when his goals and assists against Hull City in the 3-0 win are taken into account.

Van Persie, Wayne Rooney and Juan Mata are the primary attacking options that Manchester United has to offer and they certainly have enough quality and talent to go against the very best that they face off in the Premier League but even with the recent addition of Mata to the club, it wasn’t enough for them to get a victory against a club that is located on the middle section of the tables, Stoke City.
David Moyes already has intense pressure building up after each week goes by and the failure to secure points against some particular clubs but things might just be getting tougher for him after reports started emerging claiming that the Dutchman Van Persie is unhappy playing at Old Trafford and could be seeking his way out of Manchester United by the end of the current campaign.

There is some terrific news for the Manchester United supporters. The star player of the club Robin Van Persie has almost recovered from his thigh problem and he has even begun to train a little bit. He is believed to be back playing pretty soon.
Persie was the man who had found the net maximum no. of times for United in the last season, but, in this season, he hasn’t been able to make that much contribution for his side so far and the main reason behind that is his fitness. He has suffered quite a few injuries in the ongoing season.
The Netherlands skipper hasn’t featured for the Red Devils in their last 5 games and he would definitely be missing another few as it would take him a few more days to achieve match fitness.
