Robin van Persie delighted with Adnan Januzaj

Manchester United striker Robin van Persie has hailed the club’s new teen sensation Adnan Januzaj, stating that he is indeed an extremely talented player and he rightly deserves his place as one of the best teenagers in world football at the moment.

Not only that, the Dutchman has also stated that he is definitely one of the best young players he has played with and he is definitely among the top two young players as well.

The 18 year old Belgium born midfield player broke into the United first team since he made his debut for the club in their win at the FA Community Shield and since making his debut, he has gone from strength to strength, winning plaudits for his stunning performances against Sunderland as United came from a goal down to win 2-1 courtesy a brace from Januzaj. The second of those two goals was a stunning volley with his left foot and is already being seen as an early contender for Goal of the Season.

Robin van Persie has played with his fair share of prodigal young talents including the likes of Cesc Fabregas, Jack Wilshere, and Aaron Ramsey and according to the Dutchman, Januzaj as is good as any of those players, maybe even better.

Speaking to a local newspaper, van Persie stated that he is a really gifted player and admitted that he is already a huge fan of his, going on to add that he could see early during pre-season training that the player was someone special.

The youngster recently signed a new five year deal at Old Trafford and according to Robin van Persie, that is great news for the club and the fans because he will give great games and a lot of goals to the club in the near future.
