BACK SOON

There is some terrific news for the Manchester United supporters. The star player of the club Robin Van Persie has almost recovered from his thigh problem and he has even begun to train a little bit. He is believed to be back playing pretty soon.

Persie was the man who had found the net maximum no. of times for United in the last season, but, in this season, he hasn’t been able to make that much contribution for his side so far and the main reason behind that is his fitness. He has suffered quite a few injuries in the ongoing season.

The Netherlands skipper hasn’t featured for the Red Devils in their last 5 games and he would definitely be missing another few as it would take him a few more days to achieve match fitness.
United hasn’t performed badly in Van Persie’s absence though, but, there is no doubt that they desperately need the Dutch international back playing for them.

Talking to the reporters yesterday, the Red Devils boss David Moyes said, “Yes, Robin is getting there. We are hoping that he gets match fit pretty soon.”

“He and Wayne haven’t partnered each other that often this season. So, it would be good to have both of them back playing together.”

Rooney had also not played for United in their last game against Norwich City because of his groin injury. However, that’s not something to be worried about and according to Moyes; the champion striker will be back in action in the game against Tottenham Hotspur which will take place on the first day of the New Year.

Tottenham is just one position ahead of Manchester United in the Premier League points table at the minute i.e. at no. 6.
